We begin our trip by motor coach in the fast growing, busy commercial city of Tijuana. Continue the journey to visit Mexico’s world renowned wine country, located only half an hour East of Ensenada . Guadalupe Valley has a short, but intense history: first settled by native Indians, then by Spanish missionaries and Molokai Russians. Today it is the site of several wineries that have acquired international fame. After visiting 3 wineries and enjoying a country lunch we end the day in Ensenada

After a city tour, which includes some of Ensenada ’s oldest buildings, such as the ex - casino Riviera del Pacifico, we’ll drive south of Ensenada to the famous “Bufadora” to visit the natural sea spout, one of three in the world, and take advantage of informal shopping. We continue south to Santo Tomas where the oldest winery of Mexico is located. Drive through San Quintin, the vegetable garden of Baja California, and in Ensenada Bay we visit an oyster farm and savor fresh oysters.

Our morning begins in this sea of vegetation among sun, sand and gigantic granite boulders: a virgin desert garden. We’ll visit a small cave with ancient paintings. We then continue to Guerrero Negro, home of the largest salt bed in the world. At sunset we watch for migrating birds from Russia, Canada, and other latitudes in an enormous salt marsh.

We begin our morning with an unforgettable experience: a boat excursion in Laguna Ojo de Liebre to observe the gray whales, which migrate from Alaska during the winter months to mate and give birth. This is a wonderful opportunity to sight these enormous setaceous who can weight up to 45 metric tons at very close distances, and in some occasions, even pet them.

We then continue to Tijuana to conclude the trip with a typical lobster meal at Puerto Nuevo.
